Early Childhood Education (ECE) makes a positive contribution to the student’s long term development and learning by providing opportunities and a stimulating environment in the foundation stages.
Our curriculum envisages integrated learning experiences for student. It is based on the ECE program researched by NCERT and embraces the guidelines, approaches and methodologies of best international educational philosophies.
A child-centric curriculum, it encourages active learning through exploration and play. It introduces the student to literacy, numerical concepts, EVS and life skills that encourage them to sense, observe, investigate, connect and conclude. It encourages student to explore, discover and learn from their surroundings – connecting classroom with real life experiences.
No formal examinations will be conducted for Nursery to UKG as assessment is embedded in the learning process, through a range of strategies covering both inside and outside of the classroom.
The learning process at SHEAT PUBLIC SCHOOL is supported and highlighted by continuous and on-going assessment, and aims at creating good citizens out of our students, who possess sound health, appropriate skills and desirable qualities besides academic excellence.
The assessment structure for classes 1 – 9 & 11 has been designed as per CBSE guidelines following a system of continuous and comprehensive evaluation that covers all aspects of the students’ development ensuring their intellectual, physical and social development and not merely limited to academics.
