Teaching Methodology & Curriculum
At SHEAT Public School, the curriculum and teaching methodology are carefully designed to nurture intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and holistic development. The learning process is child- centric, experiential, and aligned with national educational frameworks while embracing best global practices.
Pre-Primary Curriculum (Early Childhood Education)
Early Childhood Education (ECE) plays a vital role in a child’s long-term development and learning. At SHEAT Public School, the pre-primary curriculum provides a stimulating, nurturing, and engaging environment during the foundation years.
The curriculum is based on the NCERT-researched ECE programme and incorporates guidelines, approaches, and methodologies inspired by best international educational philosophies. Integrated learning experiences are planned to encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
Being child-centric, the curriculum promotes learning through exploration, play, and hands-on experiences. Students are gradually introduced to literacy, numeracy, environmental studies, and essential life skills, enabling them to sense, observe, investigate, connect, and conclude.
Learning is closely connected to real-life experiences, helping children explore their surroundings and relate classroom concepts to everyday life.
No formal examinations are conducted from Nursery to UKG. Assessment is continuous and embedded within the learning process through a variety of observation-based strategies, both inside and outside the classroom.
Classes I – IX & XI
The learning process for Classes I to IX and XI at SHEAT Public School is supported by continuous and ongoing assessment, ensuring steady academic progress and personal growth.
The curriculum aims to develop responsible and capable citizens who possess sound health, appropriate life skills, ethical values, and desirable personal qualities, alongside academic excellence.
Assessment for these classes is designed in accordance with CBSE guidelines, following a system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation. This approach evaluates not only academic performance but also the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of students.
The methodology ensures that learning is meaningful, progressive, and aligned with real-world expectations, preparing students to face future academic and life challenges with confidence.
